How I'll Highlight Local Attractions

Here’s our last introductory blog, and this one will be quick, I promise!

I want to talk about how we’ll highlight local attractions and open the floor for suggestions. As important as it is to discuss real estate topics, the community and culture bring people to an area. Austin was just a tiny, relatively unknown town just a few decades ago, and now it’s blossomed into a hub for music, art, and technology! Every month, I’ll be highlighting something that makes Central Texas so great, from excellent restaurants to cool speakeasies and outdoor adventures, and I’ll even be interviewing some of the schools to give a better feel of what they have to offer (since GreatSchools.com can only tell us so much).

My goal with this blog and corresponding video is to teach newcomers how great the area is and to spotlight some great places to visit while they’re out here. Hopefully, I’ll even find some spots that the people already living here haven’t been to!

Due to the breadth of locations and activities, there won’t necessarily be a set format to this week’s blog. I will shoot to cover the history, an interview if it’s a place people work, and pertinent details such as hours, prices, and anything else that feels important to know about the attraction.
